The flavour and succulence you experience from outdoor reared Gloucester Old Spot & Saddleback pigs seems intensified in the younger meat, with added tenderness. And we believe you'll never have tasted such sweet and crisp crackling.
Piglets are reared on their mother's milk until they are at least 8-10 weeks old, almost 3 times longer than commercial piglets. During the warmer months they’re kept outside and are able to forage. In the cooler months the pigs are reared inside on straw beds and fed a natural diet which is GM free.
Suckling Pig brings that WOW factor to any dining experience, whether for a special event like a wedding or corporate banquet, or on the rotisserie at a summer BBQ (guaranteed to impress!). They needn't be confined to the dining halls of Kings and Lords of old. Thankfully today's cuisine is reviving traditional dishes with modern twists.
Depending on your requirements, you can order your Suckling Pig between 8-16kg, head on, split in half or cut into smaller portions for oven roasting.
